This has been bugging me for a long time... [06 Jan 2005|04:51pm] [ mood | blah ] [ music | Phantom of the Opera (2004)--Why Have You Brought Me Here ] disappearicons made a post that said: I found this meme through lovenote's journal, and it had me thinking.....most of the people other's are intimidated by are icon makers. Can anyone tell me why that is? Are we really that scary? Or am I really that crazy? I commented: I'm only intimidated by icon makers as far as if they ever see my icons and think, "*Pfft*, this is crap!! I could do way better!!" That's why I'm kinda nervious waiting for my critique at theimc and I'm also intimidated by those famous icon makers... I wish I could be well known...and get bazzilions of comments! But I never do :( makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong... And what I'd like to say now Yeah...I'm kinda bummed now...I rarely get comments on my icon journal :( I mean, I work so hard on those icons...and hardly anyone tells me that they like 'em (the exception being my Gerard Butler icon post...boy was I happy during that run)...I feel like I'm waisting my time sometimes...Like, if I don't post teaser icons in a community and link back to my icon journal...if I only post in this journal, and my personal journal...NO ONE will comment...I get sad. 5 thoughts .-' share your thoughts
